Clank! You&#039;ve hit the nail on the head. The average citizen doesn&#039;t want more data. They wouldn&#039;t know what to do with it. I can just see my mom looking at a spreadsheet full of numbers - quick grab the Motrin. 

What these &quot;tech elites&quot; do with this data is the key. I would even go further to say that simple putting the data on a website is not enough. Making data actionable and measuring that action will allow the data to serve a  purpose. The work Sunlight is doing is great. I&#039;d also like offer another website that takes this data and is attempting to make it directly actionable for citizens. See www.votetocracy.com</description>
